There was no particular catalyst which prompted my interest; it was more to do with my subjective taste which was fuelled by classic American movies which gave glimpses of these glamorous cars.
To date, I haven’t been fortunate enough to own one of my dream vehicles, but have had a few English Detroit styled cars.
These include a Zephyr 4, 2 Consul Classics and a Consul Capri as well as English

This sit up and beg Ford is my current project.
I have modified it from a four door saloon to a two door pickup and I am currently amassing parts to upgrade it’s side valve engine to something with a little more gusto!!!!
Rattlers UK is a rod and kustom club based in South East Kent.
We hold a monthly meeting at Fab’s Diner on the A2 between Canterbury and Faversham in Kent, so come along and see what our members are driving or building.
